Labour Day is “Set Up Your Solar Kit Day”

Today in many parts of the world we celebrate Labour Day, which has its origins in the labour union movement. For most people it’s a day off at the beginning of May, when the weather is usually splendid. At Robinsun, we think this is a great day to set up your plug & play solar kit, maybe with your friends and family, and celebrate the result of these (not so hard) few minutes of labour on a sunny day.

How much work is needed to set up a plug & play solar kit?

Plug & play solar kits are designed to make installation easy. In the video below you can see how easy it is to set up a Robinsun Performance 800 with a 20 degree mount, a kit that drives the highest savings for our customers and is the easiest kit to set up. As you can see in the video, it takes a single person literally 5-10 minutes to put the components together.

Once the kit is set up, you just plug it into your next available power plug, and start to save immediately. Plug & play!

Why is May a good month to install a plug & play solar kit

As we discussed in a recent blog post, spring time is solar time. As days get longer, the sun shines more and temperatures rise after winter, the production of a plug & play solar kit increases significantly. Also, setting up your kit on a sunny day is a lot more fun than on a rainy day. Invite your friends to help, and maybe convince them to get a kit by themselves.
